Azurain Inferno

So, this serves as both a present and an experimentation... As a present, this goes to the boarder who lives in the extra bedroom in our house. He's a cool dude, part of the family, you know. But this if for his birthday. I hope he likes it.

As experimentation, this works for both the creation of the star, and for the planet's texture which, surprisingly, actually doesn't look like crap. Gas planets are difficult, but I think I might be getting the hang of it, at least a little.

Anyway, critique would be wonderful but it certainly isn't necessary. Comments in general would be appreciated!

(No, I do not know what is giving off that red light. I just thought it looked cool.)
